Port Davey - SW Tasmania

Making it across to the remote and enigmatic Port Davey in southwest Tasmania came late for me, but I can now count myself lucky for having been to this incredible corner of the world three times.

This last visit was something special… well, every trip over there is actually. But it was pretty magic nonetheless. Working with writer Jo McKay, we flew into Melaleuca with Par Avion and then spent the next 3 days aboard the Odalisque with Pieter and his crew, reporting on their fantastic tour for the Qantaslink Spirit magazine.

There’s not enough superlatives to describe the incredible wilderness of Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour, so I’ll leave it there, offering a word of advice… GO!
