Wine down south
Heading out around Southern Tasmania’s wine regions gives you an appreciation of the talent pool now assembled here in our wine industry. Selector Magazine commissioned me to put together an article on the wine regions encircling Hobart, more from a touring than a wine buff perspective (I’m no wine expert, so I’m not qualified to write that!). Nevertheless, speaking to vignerons and chefs for the story, you can’t help but be inspired by their passion and deep knowledge. As the future of wine is looking increasingly cool, seemed appropriate to be pulling the article together in the middle of Tassie’s brisk winter too!
