Hobart Bars

The email subject line from the art director asked “fancy a pint?”. I thought Jetstar’s Jon Gregory was in Hobart and wanting to catch up, but no, he was wanting know if I was interested in an assignment to illustrate an article on Hobart’s bar scene. Well, it would be rude to decline, right?

So, one Saturday evening last year I stepped out with my camera and photographed Hobartians enjoying a night out at Bar Wa Izakaya, Rude Boy, Mr Goodguy, The Brunswick and up the hill to the Ferntree Tavern.
